Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Summit Center for Child Development is seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our clinical team. The BCBA will provide clinical oversight and supervision to registered behavior technicians, develop individualized treatment plans for clients diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental conditions, and ensure high-quality, evidence-based ABA therapy is delivered in a clinic-based setting.
We are open Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We offer two sessions daily from 8:00-11:45 in the morning and from 12:15-4:00 in the afternoon. Staff receive a 30-minute non-billable break mid-day to work on updating graphs, make client materials, organize the clinic, and for weekly housekeeping announcements or mini staff trainings. We are looking for a full-time BCBA.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- Current and active certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and is in good standing with the board.
- Licensed to practice in the state of Missouri and Kansas (LBA).
- Experience working with children (age 2-6) with autism or developmental disabilities (clinic-based experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles, assessment tools (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, ESDM), and data collection systems.
- Experience developing individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans.
- Excellent communication with families and staff; strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred if BCBA is already in network with any of the following insurance companies: Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, KS Medicaid, MO Medicaid, and United Healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a caseload of 10-12 part-time clients (FTE ~5-6)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), preference assessments, and skill-based evaluations.
- Develop, monitor, and update individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans.
- Provide quality 1:1 supervision, training, and mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other clinical staff.
- Analyze data to inform treatment decisions and ensure effectiveness of interventions.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to promote consistency and generalization of skills.
- Meet 1:1 with families via monthly caregiver trainings.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA, insurance, and clinic policies.
- Attend weekly BCBA meetings, assist with group supervision for BCBA track students, and monthly in-service trainings.
- Stay current with research and best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis.
