Summary

As a Service Dispatcher at Professional Audio Video Communications, you will play a vital role in coordinating service operations to ensure timely and efficient responses to customer needs. Your expertise will help maintain our commitment to outstanding customer service and operational excellence.

Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.

  • Coordinate service calls and handle customer service interactions, reports, and repairs. The service coordinator ensures excellent customer service, maintains strong relationships with customers and third-party vendors and ensures repeat customers.

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Notify the customer that we received a service request and schedule the service call.
  • Update the customer on the date and time the tech will be arriving to site.
  • Confirm tech is onsite at designated time and once call is completed.
  • Close out service work orders in portal and the service channel.
  • Notify accounting that the service call is completed and ready to bill.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues and concerns.
  • Send service update reports daily using Excel spreadsheet.
  • Take notes daily on all task that must be completed for the day/week and send email on what’s been completed or still needs to be worked on.
  • Make sure all required documents are given or emailed to the tech and confirm they received and understand the scope.
  • Document and update customer records based on interactions.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services.
  • Previous experience in customer service or other related fields.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Experience preference would be someone who has done service/repair/maintenance dispatch in a technical field. Previous AV experience a plus.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Must have 1-3 years experience.
