2pm-10pm
Psychosocial Aide Position:
Provide group psychosocial rehabilitation services to adults. Participates with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement and evaluate effective therapeutic services
Responsibilities:
- Provide socialization/stimulation to residents in the facility
- Assist with crisis intervention as needed
- Address residents' concerns and goals while maintaining constant communication with the residents as well as their social worker
- Monitor or assist during smoking times
- Assist during facility mealtimes
- Assit with resident's mail delivery
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- CNA certification preferred.
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must have patience and able to manage stress
- Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for older adults
- High level of confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards
