This position entails being responsible for completing assessments, creating treatment plans, having regular counseling sessions with their clients, facilitating groups, completing professional & proper documentation in our electronic health record system, staying within state and federal regulated scope of practice, uphold HIPAA laws and regulations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Completes SUD assessments and individualized treatment plans based on clients’ strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences with continuous reassessment and modifications to treatment plans as needed.
- Provides SUD treatment using evidence-based practices and curricula.
- Links clients to community resources
- Facilitates group counseling, and individual counseling sessions within chemical dependency scope of practice.
- Maintain continuing education requirements as required by specific state licensure.
- Responsible for maintaining and managing a caseload in compliance with regulatory standards and ratios.
- Assists in screening care coordination for clients.
- Complete UDS
- Completes prompt and thorough documentation and comprehensive client records.
Qualifications:
- CDCA or LCDC II
- Previous experience in substance use disorder, social work, counseling, or other related field proffered
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
