About Job

The Henry & Rilla White Youth Foundation, a non-profit human services organization, is seeking a licensed mental health professional to provide comprehensive evaluation services for Department of Juvenile Justice referred youth.



Job Responsibilities:


  1. Conduct Standard Comprehensive Evaluations, analyzing five domains of a youth's life: Vocational, Academic, Medical, Mental health, and Substance abuse.

  2. Administer in-depth evaluations of one or more areas as indicated.

  3. Build on data from previous screenings and assessments.

  4. Conduct face-to-face interviews with youth in various settings such as Foundation Office, JPO office, Detention Holding Facility, or Community Safe Area.

  5. Complete comprehensive reports summarizing findings.



Position Details:

This is a part-time contract position, with hours based on referrals received. Clinicians will be allotted specific hours to complete evaluations and reports. The Foundation anticipates consistent referrals from the department.



Qualifications:

Licensed mental health professionals include:



  • Psychiatrists licensed pursuant to chapter 458 or 459, F.S., and board-certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

  • Psychologists licensed pursuant to chapter 490, F.S.

  • Mental health counselors, clinical social workers, or marriage and family therapists licensed pursuant to chapter 491, F.S. (e.g., LMHC, LCSW, LMFT).
