The NCSS Behavior Support Team is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated individuals to provide support to people with emotional and behavioral challenges in both community and residential settings.

What You'll Do: As a Residential Behavior Interventionist, you’ll play a vital role in creating a structured, therapeutic environment where individuals can thrive. This site has opportunity for daytime and overnight shifts, and we want to note that overnight shifts are asleep positions. Enjoy an additional $2.50 per hour for working overnight shifts!

What We're Looking For:

• A positive attitude and a strong, calm presence
• A commitment to therapeutic engagement and meaningful connection
• The ability to foster consistency and structure in a dynamic environment
• Prior experience with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities, or mental health conditions is ideal
• Experience in behavioral or therapeutic residential settings is preferred

No ASL experience? No problem. We're willing to train the right candidate in American Sign Language (ASL) to support effective communication and inclusion.

We are currently looking to fill the following shifts:

• Wednesdays at 3:00 PM through Thursday at 8:00 AM

• Thursdays at 6:00 PM through Friday at 5:30 PM

• Fridays at 4:00 PM through Sundays at 5:30 PM (once or twice per month)

Hiring rate is based on experience, education, and internal equity. Final compensation will be determined in accordance with NCSS policy and applicable laws.
