Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and developing treatment plans for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. You will work collaboratively with clients, families, and other professionals to implement effective behavioral interventions that promote positive outcomes and enhance the quality of life for those you serve.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide training and support to families and caregivers on behavior management techniques.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and share insights on client progress.
  • Conduct patient assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make data-driven decisions.

Skills
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Strong background in special education, particularly in working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
  • Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques and strategies.
  • Experience with medical documentation practices, including maintaining accurate medical records.
  • Knowledge of patient assessment methodologies within the context of behavioral health.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and security of client information.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals across various age groups and backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
