PT School-Based Counseling Specialist - '25-'26 school year
- Work PT during the school day for the '25-'26 school year!
- Two or more days per week during the school year - you choose which days and how many you want to work.
- Master's Degree Preferred; will consider those enrolled in relevant masters program.
- The hourly rate for PT is $25 to begin.

Free weekly supervision for licensure is provided.

The School-Based Counselor/SAP Liaison provides individual and group services to students at assigned schools during the school year through the Student Assistance Program (SAP). Assures that parental permission is obtained and documentation is completed as per contract and agency requirements.
JOB DUTIES:
- Provide individual and group services to referred students at each assigned school
- Attend SAP Core Team Meetings as scheduled at each school site
- Consult with school counselors and other school personnel regarding individual students
- Conduct parent meetings as appropriate
- Document individual sessions within 48 hours of the session
- Document group sessions per county requirements
- Complete billing forms for all activities in the electronic billing system
- Communicate with the supervisor and appropriate school personnel regarding any cases of concern for the safety or well-being of any student
- Attend required trainings as available and requested
- Complete an Annual Report - end of school year activity summary
- Attend individual and group supervision sessions monthly as scheduled
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in social services or closely related field; those enrolled in relevant masters program considered
- Experience in mental health and substance abuse issues, school-based counseling and case management services for referred at-risk youth and their families
- Flexibility and organizational skills to schedule individual sessions, short-term school-based student support groups, SAP meetings, and additional prevention school-based classroom lessons
