About Job
Duties:
- Provide individual and group music therapy sessions to clients of all ages at our central Fort Collins clinic, Windsor clinic, in area homes, or at other community-based settings/contract facilities
- Support clients and their families/support communities with client-centered and creative therapeutic approaches
- Approach all clients within ITNC's "Pillars of Practice" including presuming competence, access to whole communication strategies, and psychomotor and sensory based supports, and client-centered, play-based therapy.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
- Participate in staff development meetings focused on continued learning and skill development.
- Participate in individual supervision opportunities for continued professional development and support
- Provide support for client centered community events and advocacy efforts
- Engage with music therapy interns through direct observation, supported engagement opportunities
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy (Master's preferred)
- Successful completion of the Board-Certification exam, maintenance of required continuing education (as necessary for renewal)
- Reliable transportation and applicable insurances
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds, sit or stand for moderate periods of time, carry needed musical equipment between settings, and safely physically support clients as needed.
- Proficiency in guitar, piano, voice, and basic percussion
- Clear and professional communication skilling (written and verbal)
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
