Job Summary:

As a member of the Leadership Team and under the supervision of the Clinical Director, perform clinical and administrative duties in support of residential and therapeutic services for adults with Dual Diagnoses SMI, and TBI. Supervise the implementation of treatment plans, ensure services are provided in accordance with all applicable policies, procedures, laws, regulations and contract requirements, and build an environment which promotes growth for each member of our team and everyone in our care.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Provide individual and group therapy/counseling to residents and write individual and group therapy notes.
  • Attend/Lead the resident’s “Staffing’s” as part of the client care team and follow through with changes and updates on treatment & safety plans
  • Develop and maintain Initial Assessments, initial & subsequent Treatment Plans, Crisis/Safety Plans, and Discharge Plans.
  • Guide residents in the development of skills and strategies for dealing with their presenting problems.
  • Lead coordination of care and goal setting through Case Management meetings and consistent communication with Guardians, Case Managers, advocates, and family members.
  • Review Incident Reports, submit as necessary to Case Managers or AHCCCS QM Portal, and develop appropriate plans to address patterns or trends in incidents.
  • Serve as mentor, coach, and trainer for direct care staff, particularly in the areas of service delivery and documentation, ensuring adherence to Orion’s philosophy, goals, and objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with House Managers and Program Coordinators to ensure resident needs are met in a safe and supportive environment.
  • Work collaboratively with Human Resources to monitor staff performance, recommend training or performance improvement plans, and develop future leaders.
  • Participate in weekly leadership meetings with Department Heads and Executives to address operational barriers, develop organizational goals, review problem areas, and share information.
  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support the clinical department as the company grows.

Required Education, Licensure and Experience:


  • Licensure issued by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners to practice behavioral health in Arizona at the Independent level (LAC or LMSW).
  • Experience working with SMI adults struggling with delusions, hallucinations, self-injury, medication non-compliance, verbal aggression, physical aggression, elopement, and memory or communication deficits is a PLUS.
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Must possess and maintain a current driver license and a clean driving record in the State of Arizona
  • Must pass background checks such as federal, state, APS, CPS and OIG, etc.
  • Must hold a valid Level 1 Fingerprint Card
