Direct Care Counselor – Residential
Location: Cascade House, BRS Residential Program
Reports To: Residential Program Manager
Job Type: Full-Time | Various Shifts Available

Are you passionate about helping youth thrive? Join Family Solutions as a Direct Care Counselor at our Cascade House Residential Program and be a vital part of a dedicated team supporting adolescents in a therapeutic setting.

What You’ll Do:
As a Direct Care Counselor, you’ll provide direct supervision, structure, and guidance to youth in our residential program. You’ll work closely with the treatment team to implement individualized treatment plans and create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where youth can heal and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 24-hour supervision and support to residents.

  • Engage youth in activities, play, and therapeutic group work.

  • Maintain accurate logs, including medication, sleep, and progress notes.

  • Administer medication in accordance with procedures.

  • Assist with treatment plan implementation and communication across team members.

  • Transport youth to appointments, outings, or activities as needed.

  • Uphold ethical standards and client confidentiality at all times.

  • Communicate professionally with youth, families, and coworkers.

What You Bring:

  • 2+ years of experience working with children or adolescents.

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of related education/experience preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage crisis situations with compassion and professionalism.

  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

  • Ability to pass an ODHS background check.
