Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. LICSW must have Minnesota license. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing therapeutic services to diverse populations, including children, adults, and geriatrics. This role requires a commitment to improving the mental health and well-being of clients through evidence-based practices and a holistic approach to care.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling services using various therapeutic techniques, including motivational interviewing.
- Work collaboratively with clients diagnosed with autism, developmental disabilities, and addiction issues.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and support groups as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress.
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in social work, psychopharmacology, and medical terminology.
- Advocate for clients’ needs within the healthcare system and connect them with appropriate resources.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills related to geriatric care and other relevant areas.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Valid LCSW license in the state of practice.
- Experience working with children, adults, geriatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Proficiency in motivational interviewing techniques and addiction counseling is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ethical practice and continuous learning in the field of social work.
