Job Description
Summary:
Seeking a certified, mission-aligned School Psychologist to step into a high-impact temporary role during a Fall 2025 leave of absence. This position is ideal for a practitioner with strong evaluation and consultative skills who is eager to support student success, collaborate with teams, and contribute meaningfully during a critical period. The focus is on K–5 student populations, providing evaluations and interventions within a multidisciplinary team environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results
- Develop and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with special education, counseling, and teaching staff
- Support behavioral and academic interventions
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and student support meetings
- Maintain documentation in compliance with state/federal guidelines
Experience You’ll Need:
- Valid CT School Psychologist certification (070 endorsement)
- Previous K–8 school-based experience preferred
- Familiarity with IEP process and state/federal special education regulations
