Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health counseling and support to individuals facing various challenges. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, with an emphasis on behavioral health and mental wellness. The counselor will work in a clinic setting, providing both diagnostic evaluations and ongoing therapeutic support.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide mental health counseling services, utilizing evidence-based practices to support patients in achieving their therapeutic goals.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations and document findings in accordance with clinic standards.
• Engage in behavior management strategies to assist patients in coping with their conditions effectively.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic or hospital setting to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Offer Christian counseling services as requested, integrating faith-based approaches into therapeutic practices when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all regulations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.

Experience

• A valid license as a Professional Counselor is required.
• Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with coding for mental health services is advantageous.
• Experience in behavioral health and patient assessment is essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations are necessary for success in this role.
• Knowledge of Christian counseling principles is a plus but not mandatory.
