Position: Licensed Mental Health Counselor/Therapist
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Vice President
Position Description: Responsible for providing therapies to individuals, couples, groups, and families to promote ideal mental health and the Healing Heart Center. Full-time or part-time positions available.

Position Description: Responsible for providing therapies to individuals, couples, groups, and families to promote ideal mental health and the Healing Heart Center. Full-time or part-time positions available.
SIGN ON BONUS - $500 for part-time, $1000 for full-time employees (terms apply)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meet with clients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Conduct ongoing assessments of client progress
- Diagnose and treat mental health disorders
- Create individualized treatment plans according to client needs and circumstances
- Responsible for referring clients to specialists as necessary
- Establish positive, trusting rapport with clients
- Serve as a client advocate to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations
- Assist with insurance processes and client account collections
- Change method and degree of therapy when indicated by client reactions and needs.
- Conduct trainings as needed virtually or in person
- Assist clients into the relaxation rooms
- Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:

- Licensed LCPC, LCSW, or LISW
- Graduate from an accredited master’s social work or behavioral health education program
- Master’s degree required
