The candidate needs to have a license (LMSW, LPCMH, LCSW, etc.) and be a master-level therapist. The responsibilities are: to provide bilingual (in Spanish) mental health services, which include individual counseling, family counseling, crisis intervention, support group facilitation, classroom support in the ELL, teachers’ consultation, cultural brokering and help with family communication (i.e., phone calls). Spanish is used mostly to communicate with parents.
