Full Job Description:
We are looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at Beyond the Spectrum,Inc. This is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. You will work with a team of highly skilled BCBAs to provide Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive assessments, functional behavior assessments (FBAs), and skill assessments to identify the underlying factors contributing to challenging behaviors and the individual's strengths and weaknesses.
- Treatment Planning: Develop individualized, evidence-based behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on the assessments' findings and aligned with the client's goals and needs.
- Ethical Practice: Adhere to the ethical guidelines and standards set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) to maintain the highest level of professionalism and ethical conduct in all aspects of the job.
- Implementation and Supervision: Oversee the implementation of behavior intervention programs by behavior technicians, caregivers, or other professionals working with the client. Provide ongoing supervision, training, and feedback to ensure the effective delivery of interventions.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Accurately collect and analyze behavior data to measure progress, determine the effectiveness of interventions, and make data-driven decisions to modify treatment plans as needed.
- Behavior Support: Offer guidance and support to clients, families, teachers and other team members in understanding and managing challenging behaviors while promoting positive behavior change.
- Collaborative Approach: Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals involved in the client's care to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach to intervention.
Experience:
- Candidates must hold a valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. (BACB)
- Education: A master's or doctoral degree with behavior analysis, education, psychology, or a related field is typically required to qualify for BCBA certification.
- Experience: Prior experience working with developmental disorders or behavioral challenges is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA): In-depth knowledge of ABA principles, methodologies, and behavior change techniques is essential.
- Communication and Collaboration Skills: the ability to effectively collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and the capacity to effectively communicate complex concepts to clients, families, and other team members.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess behavior patterns, design appropriate interventions, and interpret data to make data-driven decisions.
- Empathy and Compassion: A genuine understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with behavioral disorders and a compassionate approach to their care.
- Professional Development: Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in the field of ABA.

Compensation is based on level of experience and time in the field.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
