Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Restoration Specialist to join our team. This role involves demolition and restoration work on residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes and customer satisfaction. Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of construction experience, with demolition expertise required, and restoration experience considered a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demolition Work:
- Safely and efficiently perform demolition of structures, walls, flooring, ceilings, and other materials.
- Prepare sites for restoration by removing debris and ensuring structural integrity.
- Restoration Tasks:
- Assist in rebuilding and restoring damaged areas, including framing, drywall, painting, and finishing.
- Follow project plans and specifications to ensure high-quality results.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of PPE and proper tool handling.
- Identify and mitigate potential hazards on-site.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other team members, contractors, and project managers to complete projects on time.
- Customer Interaction:
- Maintain professionalism and communicate effectively with clients when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 3+ years of construction experience, with significant experience in demolition required.
- Restoration experience, including structural repairs, is a plus.
- Skills:
- Proficiency with hand and power tools used in construction and demolition.
- Ability to read and follow blueprints, drawings, and project plans.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical Requirements:
- Capable of lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and performing physically demanding tasks.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including outdoor and enclosed spaces.
- Certifications:
- OSHA certification or similar safety training is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
