Overview
We’re looking for a Part-Time Care Coordinator to support our growing non-medical home care agency during evenings and weekends. This role is ideal for someone with a medical background who understands the importance of compassionate, reliable care. As a Care Coordinator, you'll play a key role in matching caregivers with clients, ensuring smooth communication, and maintaining the quality of care our clients depend on. Bilingual candidates are highly preferred, as we serve a diverse community.
Duties
- oordinate caregiver-client schedules based on availability and care needs
- Communicate regularly with caregivers, clients, and families to ensure satisfaction
- Respond to calls, messages, or scheduling issues during evening and weekend hours
- Monitor client care plans and update information as needed
- Track caregiver attendance and report any issues or concerns
- Support emergency shift coverage or last-minute schedule changes
Requirements
- Medical background
- Bilingual – able to communicate fluently in English and another language (Spanish preferred)
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable using basic computer systems and scheduling platforms
- Previous experience in home care or healthcare coordination is a plus
- Ability to work independently and handle urgent scheduling needs
