About Job
Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with special needs, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure consistent and effective therapy
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities or autism, is preferred
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is a plus
- Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with individuals with special needs and their families
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate data collection
