Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee clinical programs to ensure high-quality care and adherence to hospital standards.
- Develop and implement policies in line with FDA regulations and HIPAA guidelines.
- Supervise and support medical staff to promote their professional growth.
- Collaborate with research teams to bring innovative practices into clinical settings.
- Manage relationships with payers to enhance outcomes and optimize resource use.
- Ensure accurate documentation using appropriate medical terminology.
- Monitor and improve quality and safety in patient care initiatives.
- Lead projects aiming at operational efficiency and enhanced service delivery.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited institution; board certification in Psychiatry is required.
- Extensive clinical experience, preferably within a hospital environment.
- Strong understanding of FDA regulations, HIPAA, and healthcare standards.
- Demonstrated healthcare project management and administrative abilities.
- Proven leadership skills with supervisory experience (2+ years preferred).
- Familiarity with managed care systems and patient care protocols.
- Excellent communication skills; proficiency in medical terminology is a must.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and clinical excellence.
- Active DEA registration, physician permits, and a Texas medical license in good standing.
- Must meet background clearance requirements as per TAC and HHSC standards.
