The role you’ll contribute:

The Care Manager System Educator Lead (CMEL) supports the development and implementation of education for the CFD-S, collaborating with leadership to identify educational gaps and develop plans. Responsibilities include delivering new hire training, mentoring staff, and ensuring quality care and resource stewardship. The CMEL also supports policy development, quality improvement, and change management activities.

• Participate in process improvement initiatives and support practice changes.
• Utilize critical thinking and data-driven decision-making in duties.
• Develop and implement educational materials, including new hire training and system initiatives.
• Audit compliance with regulations and standards.
• Review and update policies, SOPs, and job descriptions as needed.
• Identify community resources and coordinate educational opportunities for staff.

What You Will Need:

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or an advanced healthcare degree.
• Experience in Case Management, Utilization Management, or Transitional Care.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Three (3) years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• If an RN, a current Florida or multi-state Department of Health Nursing License.
• Preferred: Master’s in Nursing Education or related field, experience in healthcare education, LCSW, certification in case management, familiarity with CMS programs, and knowledge of Cerner NaviHealth, Suncare, Qlikview.
