- Diagnose and treat various mental health conditions
- Conduct therapy sessions with clients
- Develop a customized treatment plan based on each client's needs
- Monitor each client's progress during ongoing treatment
- Complete session notes promptly
- Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field.
- Valid California License
- Extensive knowledge of mental health conditions and best practices for psychological treatment
- Well-developed listening and interview skills to explore patient needs and administer treatment plans
- Strong verbal communication skills to counsel and advise patients
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to develop effective treatment plans
- Coaching skills to help patients make positive changes
- Organization skills to maintain up-to-date, easy-to-navigate patient files
- Familiarity with privacy, health, and safety laws
- Computer skills in operating record-keeping, scheduling, email, and word-processing software
- Ability to stay current on emerging theories, techniques, and practice in family therapy.
- Previous experience providing counseling services
- Bi-lingual communication skills are a plus
- $70 per hour
