A Day in the Life of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®) at Behavior Matters

At Behavior Matters, being a BCBA means more than just logging billable hours. Here, you’re a clinical leader, mentor, and collaborator. We’re BCBA-owned and operated, which means your voice matters, your caseload is protected, and your growth is a priority.

As a BCBA on our team, you’ll oversee 12-15 clients with ABA graduate student support, all seen in our welcoming clinic setting. No long drives or home-based scheduling stress—our clients come to us, and you work alongside your RBTs daily. You’ll lead treatment planning, provide direct supervision, guide skill acquisition, and adjust programming based on ongoing data. We give you the tools, structure, and support to do it well.

Schedule & Setting:

  • Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm
  • No weekends, no late nights
  • Clinic-Based, Hybrid, or Remote Options: Depending on your location and caseload, roles may include fully clinic-based work, hybrid supervision (in-person and telehealth), or remote responsibilities such as parent training, report writing, and team meetings
  • We’ll work with you to build a schedule that supports both clinical excellence and your work-life balance

Compensation & Perks:

  • Salary or hourly options: Salary: 80,000 - 95,000, Hourly Rate: 40-50 - based on experience and availability
  • Annual performance reviews with merit increase opportunities

Requirements:

  • Current BCBA® certification in good standing
  • Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • Able to pass a background check and provide favorable references
  • CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain within 30 days
