The Children’s Receiving Home of Sacramento (CRH) provides trauma-informed, short-term residential care to children and adolescents involved in the child welfare system. Our Temporary Shelter Care Facility (TSCF) offers a safe, nurturing space for youth in crisis, where healing begins and stability is restored. We are a team of passionate professionals working together to support children with compassion, structure, and hope.

Job Description

Do you thrive in dynamic environments and lead with heart and integrity? We’re looking for a Program Supervisor to join our TSCF team—a leader who can mentor staff, manage day-to-day operations, and uphold the highest standards of care for youth in crisis. In this role, you will support a team of Residential Counselors, ensure smooth facility operations, and help children feel seen, safe, and supported during a critical time in their lives. It’s a hands-on leadership opportunity to make a lasting impact.

We are currently offering a sign on bonus for this position. Eligibility and payout details will be discussed during the interview process.

What We’re Looking For
To qualify, candidates must meet one of the following education/experience criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree, OR
  • 12 semester units in child development/adolescent development/foster care + 100 hours of youth experience, OR
  • Certification as an AOD counselor + 100 hours of youth experience, OR
  • Vocational certification as a journeyperson + 100 hours of youth experience, OR
  • One year of experience in a group home or STRTP

Also required:

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid CA Driver’s License and insurable driving record
  • Ability to pass required background checks
  • STRTP or GHAC Certification preferred
