We are seeking for a highly motivated part-time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our dynamic group to work in an interdisciplinary treatment team focused on adolescent residential treatment program in Woodland Hills, CA.

Essential Duties:

Review applications for admission

Supervise director of nursing and nursing team

Assess patients with a thorough psychiatric interview

Diagnose mental health diagnosis

Prescribe appropriate medication by performing thorough initial and follow up medication evaluation sessions.

Monitor psychotropic medication usage for adherence, efficacy, and side effects

Collaborate within interdisciplinary team meetings

Peer to Peer Reviews (via telephone) with Insurance Company Physicians

Periodic teaching/psych education with treatment team members

Requirements:

Completion of an accredited Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program

Board certified in Adult Psychiatry

Board certified or Board Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

Licensed to practice in California

Proof of medical liability insurance

DEA license

Must be able to sign off on CLIA
