Position Summary: The Clinician is responsible for supporting organizational goals to provide the highest level of trauma-informed clinical mental health services. In addition to serving as a direct care provider with a participant caseload, this role collaborates with team members across multidisciplinary focus areas to meet program objectives and individual participant goals.

Responsibilities (include But Are Not Limited To)
Participant Engagement and Program Support:
- Deliver key services on-site, including individual and group therapy, and the completion of biopsychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct Beck anxiety and depression assessments within one week of new Participants entering the program and every three months until program completion.
- Develop a curriculum for group therapy based on program goals and Participant needs.
- Use the strength-based approach in modeling and providing feedback for Participants.
- Ensure program compliance, including the appropriate entry and maintenance of documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, agency systems, participant or program records, and agency monthly summaries.
- Assist with the development of provision of training materials and coaching tips for staff both at WRP and organization-wide when appropriate and relevant.
- Engage in clinical and multi-disciplinary team meetings to address participant progress and barriers.
- Maintain on-call availability to address coverage emergencies and participant crises.
- Provide care to program participants without regard to race, gender, ethnicity, religious or spiritual beliefs.
- Provide culturally competent care for participants wondering about their sexuality or gender identity.
- Provide program expertise as a licensed clinician, including discipline-related oversight for clinical interns in collaboration with program leadership.
- Maintain knowledge of current best practices across Wellspring Living programs, as well as trafficking and trauma, seeking professional growth in evidence-based practices through training and independent study.
- Master’s Degree or higher level of post-graduate education in a related field, such as counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or psychology.
- Active full professional Georgia license in good standing, such as Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Training in EMDR, brain spotting, substance use disorders, and/or other established methods for trauma-informed care is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of two years of experience working with adults in a residential setting is strongly preferred.
- Preferred experience includes providing services to women who have been exposed to complex trauma, and in particular, survivors of commercial sexual exploitation.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word and Outlook) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Docs).
- Employment is contingent upon successfully completing pre-employment background checks, including criminal history, fingerprinting, and drug testing. Continued employment is subject to ongoing compliance with these checks.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license is required and must be maintained throughout employment.
- Documentation of references (at least two professional and one personal) that attest to the person’s capability of performing the position's duties and the person’s suitability to work with or around children and vulnerable populations.
- Ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds and work for long periods at a computer.
- Moderate local travel is required to meet program and training needs, as well as occasional travel beyond the metro Atlanta area.
