Shift: on call and scheduled meetings

Description:

Provide 24/7 mental health support to any DHSES employee experiencing a mental health crisis.
Deliver initial response within three (3) hours of notification (in-person or virtually).
Conduct one-on-one session(s) to assess the crisis and refer the individual to an appropriate long-term mental health provider.
Attend scheduled in-person meetings with DHSES management and staff as required.
Advise DHSES leadership on current best practices in mental health and wellness support.
Ensure continuity of care and maintain documentation in accordance with professional standards.
Complete ICISF’s Assisting Individuals in Crisis and Group Crisis Intervention courses.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a mental health professional.
Strong preference for experience supporting 1st line public safety personnel (e.g., law enforcement, fire services).
Completion of ICISF training courses (or willingness to complete upon selection).
