Position Overview:
We are looking for an individual who is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic, patient-centered setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to contribute to the success of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily front office operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient service
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with enthusiasm, professionalism and warmth
- Answer phones, schedule appointments and manage patient inquiries
- Monitor and respond to patient phone calls, texts and emails throughout the day
- Check in patients, verify insurance, collect payments and check out patients
- Understand and confidently communicate insurance benefits
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare providers via phone, email, and fax
- Assist with dispensing eyewear, contact lens ordering and patient follow-up
- Assist with patient preliminary/entrance testing
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment
- Support the overall efficiency and flow of daily operations
- Other duties as assigned by the doctor

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
