Overview
We’re hiring a Qualified Mental Health Professional to join our outpatient behavioral health team. This role supports clients through assessment, therapeutic interventions, and coordination under clinical oversight—not independently. This individual will provide mental health services to individuals with emotional, behavioral, or psychiatric conditions. These professionals play a key role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health disorders in a variety of settings, including hospitals, community mental health centers, schools, correctional facilities, and private practices.

Responsibilities

Conduct mental health assessments, crisis evaluations, and intake screenings.
Provide individual, group, and family counseling or psychotherapy tailored to the clients needs.
Coordinate care, services, and resources for clients.
Respond to mental health emergencies and provide stabilization services.
Utilize ICD-9 coding for documentation and billing purposes.
Maintain accurate clinical records, progress notes, and reports.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate client care and ensure different treatment approaches.
Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance service delivery and outcomes.
Incorporate art therapy techniques as appropriate to support clients’ emotional expression and healing.
