OVERVIEW & PURPOSE

The ideal candidate will be an experienced salesperson who is comfortable generating sales leads by maintaining relationships with current clients and driving new sales opportunities when engaged by an Account Executive (AE).  This candidate will be able to understand a prospective client's needs and offer an ideal solution.  This position will also be responsible for activities designed to increase client satisfaction levels and increase market share for the company by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Work with the AE, operations, and help desk to schedule client training appointments as needed
  2. Drive your personal vehicle to scheduled client training appointments throughout a multi-state territory
  3. Facilitate training for clients before, during, and after they enter into an agreement with MOM for office systems and related services
  4. Display or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes scalable features
  5. Instruct client employees or purchasers on the use of the office system
  6. Create instructional material, handouts, presentations and videos to aid in the training of equipment and software
  7. Assist network engineers with the installation of multifunctional products as necessary
  8. Support the software applications associated with our products, fully understanding the applications to reinforce their value and functionality to both the AEs and our clients
  9. Perform periodic training on software applications, new products, special features, etc. for our internal sales team per the direction of management
  10. Investigate and resolve client problems
  11. Attend trade shows and company sales meetings
  12. Work independently, as well as collaboratively, with the AE team to identify and close Managed Print Services (MPS) opportunities
  13. Assist clients and prospects by analyzing and evaluating their print management requirements and needs; propose an MPS maintenance/service solution that meets company profitability goals and that will be cost effective for our clients
  14. Build and maintain relationships with current as well as new clients
  15. Exceed all assigned sales quotas
  16. Sell printer maintenance/service agreements to current and new customers
  17. Keep impeccable records through client relationship management software (SalesForce)
  18. Prepare and calculate necessary sales proposals or bid compilations
  19. Understand how our mission outweighs the competition  
  20. Handle objections and get deals closed within company sales processes
  21. Prepare and facilitate order process with properly signed and completed paperwork
  22. Participate in Business Technology Reviews with assigned clients
  23. Ensure that all client equipment is installed, completed, and that the client is entirely satisfied
  24. Report and/or handle client complaints in conjunction with the client loyalty and service departments
  25. Work effectively with service technicians to keep continuity of excellent service

COMPETENCIES

  1. Proficient computer skills and instructional software
  2. Must maintain a good working knowledge of all equipment the company sells
  3. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  4. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  5. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
  6. The ability to be flexible but organized in day-to-day operations

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no supervisory responsibility.

POSITION TYPE & EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

TRAVEL

This position requires frequent travel between company branches and customer sites.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Current driver's license
  2. Access to employee-owned vehicle for job travel between company branches and customer sites
  3. Valid certificate of insurance with the minimum liability requirements set forth by the company
  4. Maintain and acquire further training and certification as required
