Job Summary
The Community Liaison plays a vital role in fostering relationships between the organization and the community it serves. This position is responsible for visiting facilities and attending local networking events with the intent of generating referrals and strengthening relationships. The ideal candidate will have a passion for community service, strong interpersonal skills, while also staying organized. This is a commission based position.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Previous experience with home health or home care businesses
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, stakeholders, and residents to promote awareness of programs and services.
- Visit local facilities, including surgery centers and independent living facilities.
- Manage social media platforms to enhance community engagement and promote events or programs.
- Assist in project management by coordinating activities, timelines, and resources for community initiatives.
- Participate in fundraising efforts to support program development and sustainability.
Skills
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail for managing documentation and reports.
- Proficiency in social media management to effectively engage with the community online.
- Ability to educate diverse audiences about programs, services, and resources available within the community.
- Knowledge of social work principles to address community challenges compassionately.
- Excellent public speaking skills for effective communication at events and meetings.
- Creative marketing skills to promote programs effectively within the community.
- Experience in fundraising activities to support program development efforts.
This position is essential for building strong connections within the community while ensuring that organizational goals align with the needs of those we serve.
