RiseWell Community Services is seeking a Part-Time Residential Counselor to join our Residential Department and provide services to people with psychiatric disabilities in a transitional licensed residential program.
Position Details
Reports To: Program Supervisor
Department: Residential Services
Hours: 20 hours per week
Schedule: Sundays and Mondays from 1pm to 11pm.
Qualifications
High school diploma with two years’ experience working with persons with psychiatric disabilities OR a BA in Human Services. Valid NY State Driver’s License. Fingerprinting, criminal record check, and approval from NYS Office of Mental Health.
Job Function
Provide supportive counseling, restorative services, and crisis intervention to people with psychiatric disabilities in a transitional licensed residential program.
