Position Summary
A Social Work Professional at the Cancer Center is an integral part of an interdisciplinary team helping patients, families, and caregivers cope with cancer and the many challenges it brings. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate and work in a team environment with a focus on patient and family-centered care. The successful candidate will utilize their expert lens to perform comprehensive psychosocial spiritual assessments, provide supportive counseling, internal and external resource coordination, provide advocacy and support for vulnerable populations, provide complex case consultation, facilitate support groups, serve as a resource for staff, and have program development experience.
Position Requirements

• Master of Social Work
• At least 2 years of social work practice or student practicum
• Possession of a valid Driver's License with proof of safe driving record for the past ten years and proof of auto insurance may be required. If required, must have an Oregon Driver's License within 30 days of moving to Oregon (if applicable).

Preferred Licensure

• LCSW: Licensed Clinical Social Worker
• LMSW: Licensed Master's Social Worker
