Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral therapy and a passion for working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients to enhance their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including therapists, educators, and family members, to ensure cohesive support for clients.
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and other staff members on best practices in behavioral therapy.
- Stay current with developments in the field of behavioral health and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation practices.
- Strong skills in data collection and analysis related to behavioral interventions.
- Familiarity with behavioral therapy techniques and strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
