Columbia Community Mental Health is a nonprofit agency and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic that provides services to individuals with mental, addiction and developmental disabilities.

The Residential Department is looking for someone who is passionate about helping and serving our community. This individual will be providing services in home, community, and healthcare settings for individuals who are experiencing mental health challenges.

Summary: Columbia Community Mental Health's Alternatives is a 9-bed Residential Treatment Facility located in St. Helens, Oregon. We provide a safe, supportive environment for individuals navigating mental health challenges—many of whom are part of the Psychiatric Security Review Board (PSRB) program. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, person-centered care that empowers our residents to build meaningful, independent lives. We are staffed 24/7 and provide a comprehensive array of mental health services, including personalized therapy sessions, medication management, and life skills training. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to meeting each resident’s unique needs with precision, compassion, and respect.

Position: Community Support Specialist

Department: Residential (Alternatives)

Shift: On call

Salary Range: $22.19/hour - $29.58/hour. We use a bona fide factor system to determine starting wage (years of experience, education, credentials, and specialty skills that relate to the job requirements).

Position Requirements: High school diploma/equivalency preferred and at least one-year experience working with individuals with mental health needs. Combination of education/experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties outlined for this position may be considered.

Working conditions: This position works in an office environment/residential home. This position is not remote.
