Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. We service children age 2-12 in a clinic setting. We are small, independently owned clinic with a very supportive team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective behavioral interventions to enhance the quality of life for our clients.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess the needs of clients with developmental disabilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis.
- Implement behavioral therapy techniques and monitor client progress through data collection and analysis.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency in treatment approaches.
- Provide training and support to staff on best practices in behavioral health and special education.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
- Stay current with research and advancements in the field of behavior analysis.
Qualifications
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those with autism.
- Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation methods and behavioral therapy techniques.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health.
- Excellent data collection skills for tracking client progress and outcomes.
- Knowledge of special education practices is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating strong communication skills.
