Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pup Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients. As a Pup Caregiver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of pets while also supporting their owners through various services. This position requires a blend of animal handling skills, customer service expertise, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Duties

• Provide attentive care and supervision for animals in our facility, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Assist with dog handling, including walking, feeding, and administering medications as needed.
• Engage with pet owners to provide updates on their pets’ well-being and address any concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kennel area, including heavy lifting tasks related to cleaning and moving supplies.
• Support grooming services by assisting with bathing, brushing, and other grooming needs.
• Implement animal restraint techniques when necessary to ensure the safety of both pets and staff.
• Foster a positive environment for both pets and their owners through excellent customer service.
• Managing dog play areas with up to 20 dogs out playing at one time by yourself.

Experience

• Previous experience in pet care or veterinary assistance is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with dog handling techniques and animal behavior is highly desirable.
• Experience in kennel management or similar environments is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
• A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care and well-being.

Must be motivated and have ability to take initiative.

Must have reliable transportation and be punctual.

$12-$17
