Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities, providing support and implementing behavioral therapy techniques under the guidance of a supervising clinician. This role is essential in promoting positive behavior changes and enhancing the quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by licensed professionals.
- Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home and community environments.
- Assist clients with daily living activities while promoting independence.
- Monitor and document client progress, behaviors, and any changes in condition.
- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate needs and develop appropriate strategies.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient information.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Experience
- Experience in special education or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with patient care practices and medical documentation standards.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation processes is advantageous.
- Previous experience in behavioral therapy or related fields is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
