The community liaison establishes and maintains positive relationships with hospitals, community partners and other referral sources in a designated market.

How you will make an impact:
The community liaison establishes and maintains positive relationships with hospitals, community partners and other referral sources in a designated market.
- Creating referral network through building relationships with physicians, clinicians, hospital systems and various other providers
- Using cold calling as a marketing technique and to establish new relationships
- Managing communication with our referral base and the healthcare community
- Organizing and executing community events
- Outreach and engagement with numerous stakeholders in mental health care in the region
- Monitoring, analyzing and forecasting health trends and indicators in the service area to maximize marketing efforts
- Driving internal organizational change by utilizing external customer feedback for continuous clinical improvement and customer service
- Identify and develop new referral sources for education and awareness of clinical services provided by Cedar Hills Hospital
- Build and monitor perceptions of the hospital as a high quality provider of services.
- Ability to market diligently and deal tactfully with referral sources.
- Recognize and resolve barriers to admission and assist with the coordination of the referral-to-admission process.
- Represent the hospital at trade shows, networking events, educational (CEU) events, and conferences. Provide in-services and professional presentations on Cedar Hills Hospital programs, continuum of services, admissions criteria, and admissions process.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in counseling/social work/psychology/business administration/health care administration/marketing/nursing or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years experience in health care business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results and a knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles preferred.
Licensure: Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
Other: Excellent written and oral communication skills, frequent travel required, ability to work with a sense of autonomy, highly organized, assertive, flexible, and team oriented.
