We are looking for a friendly and welcoming Client Care Coordinator to join our team! The Client Care Coordinator greets clients, providing the first and last impression of each client’s visit to our hospital. They're responsible for client communication and always providing excellent client service. Client Care Coordinators perform clerical duties related to veterinary care and treatment, process invoices and payments, direct incoming phone calls, and provide miscellaneous support to the veterinary team.

Client Care Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities

· Preparing forms/information for next-day appointments

· Answers telephone and assists clients on the phone

· Maintain cleanliness of the reception area

· Dust and/or clean countertops, and shelves with specified disinfectant/cleaner; opening and closing

· Interacting with clients and coordinating communication between doctors, assistants, and the clients.

· Provide top-notch customer service.

· Identify and work compassionately with clients in various emotional states.

· Work patiently with distressed, frustrated, or disgruntled clients.

· Schedule appointments and schedule procedures.

· Check-in clients.

· Monitor client flow from check-in to discharge.

· Monitor schedule and flow.

· Client callbacks.

· Managing record requests between other hospitals and specialty practices.

· Discharge patients.

· Client education.

Client Care Coordinator Requirements and Qualifications

· Demonstrate knowledge of general office practices and procedures, receptionist and telephone techniques; Perform clerical work with speed and accuracy, use a multiple-line telephone system, handle cash and other forms of payment.

· Knowledge of veterinary clinic procedures and terminologies

· Physical fitness to carry out physical activities.

· Communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner; Basic computer skills, including ability to learn veterinary management software.

· Passionate about animals.

· Ability to relate with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

· Excellent phone etiquette.

· Good temperament to withstand bad behavior from some animals.

· Exceptional organizational skills to keep the work environment tidy and comfortable, as well as to perform assignments efficiently.

· Cornerstone software experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
