About Job

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Behavior Support Programs (BSPs) and monthly behavior documentation.
  • Complete annual assessments (e.g., FBA, Risk Assessment) for individuals on your caseload.
  • Monitor and coach Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in implementing interventions and accurate documentation.
  • Provide initial and ongoing training to DSPs on BSPs and behavior strategies.
  • Lead the regional Behavior Management Committee and respond to behavioral crises as needed.
  • Participate in intake assessments, transition planning, and emergency support.
  • Collaborate with guardians, QIDPs, ISCs, nurses, and other team members to ensure coordinated support.
  • Maintain compliance with documentation, billing, and regulatory timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a Human Services-related field.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Illinois BCBA licensure is not currently required to practice within the agency.
  • Valid driver’s license; regional travel is required.
  • Must complete and maintain CPR, First Aid, and Safety Care certifications within designated timeframes.
