Position Summary

The Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LABA) plays a key role in delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents with significant behavioral and developmental challenges. Under the guidance of the Director of Community-Based Services and the Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA), this position provides clinical support including assessment, direct service delivery, staff training, program development, and family education.

This position requires collaboration across Villa services and community partnerships to ensure comprehensive, ethical, and high-quality care for each person served.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct behavioral assessments and maintain an assigned caseload.
  • Provide direct ABA services and behavioral/crisis support, including after-hours as needed.
  • Support development and implementation of treatment plans in collaboration with the LBA.
  • Assist with staff and family training, clinical documentation, and quality improvement.
  • Participate in clinical team meetings, service planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Oversee documentation from intake through discharge, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Provide transportation to clients and families when necessary per Villa policy.
  • Support ongoing program evaluation and staff development initiatives.
  • Uphold agency mission and ensure adherence to licensing and ethical standards.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Required:
    • Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LABA) in the state of Virginia.
    • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, including 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data documentation systems.
    • Valid Virginia driver’s license and excellent driving record.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience with Medicaid regulations and documentation.
    • Experience in in-home ABA service delivery and community-based supports.
    • Familiarity with functional behavior assessments and ABA plan development.
