QualificationsPOSITION SUMMARY:Therapists, Fulltime, responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: - Responsible for developing and writing treatment plans and discharge summaries within established time frames and formats. - Is a liaison with other disciplines, colleagues, physicians, families, and outside agencies. - Responsible for assessing, designing, structuring, and implementing therapeutic services that best meets the needs of patients and their families. - Working collaboratively as a treatment team member. Will work under the direct supervision of the Clinical Services Director. Must be licensed to practice psychotherapy in the State of Texas (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) or under supervision for licensure (LMSW, LPC-I, or LMFT-A) Prior inpatient adult psychiatric experience preferred.EDUCATION: Masters Degree in Behavioral Health fieldLICENSURE / CERTIFICATION: Current State Licensure. Current CPR or BLS certification. Aggressive Behavior Management training within 90 days of hire date. Is deemed a Qualified Mental Health Provider (QMHP)EXPERIENCE: Required: At least 6 months work experience providing individual, group and family therapy, case management and discharge planning in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric facility; familiarity with ethical and legal issues regarding reporting of abuse and neglect.
