About Job

Always Best Care of Greater Lexington, a provider of in home care for seniors in Lexington and surrounding communities, has multiple opportunities for Care Coordinators! The Care Coordinator provides training and support to the Care Team, is an expert in company polices and procedures, and provides excellent service and support to our clients. The Care Coordinator is a hands on position, providing direct Client Care ensuring that new clients can start services without delay and that current client shifts are covered in the case of caregiver call outs or staffing shortages. This is a great position for an experienced care professional looking for a predictable schedule and the opportunity to learn new business and customer service skills.

We are currently seeking four individuals to fill the following shifts:

7a to 3p Monday through Friday (1 position)

3p to 11p Monday through Friday (1 position)

7a to 8p Saturdays and Sundays (1 position)

7p to 8a Saturdays and Sundays (1 position)

Starting pay is $16.50 per hour with merit raises at scheduled intervals and a bonus program

Position requirements include the following:

  • At least three years experience in hands on senior care
  • Skilled nursing or hospital experience is a plus
  • A record of excellent attendance and reliability
  • Good references
  • The ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
  • Must be willing and able to work with any client at any level of care
  • Must be willing and able to pass a drug test and a criminal background check
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must have the physical ability to stand for long periods of time, climb stairs, and be able to regularly push, pull, and/or move up to 35 pounds.
