Hours per Week: Approximately 2527 hours/week (.7 FTE)
Licensure Required: Valid Illinois School Psychologist License

Position Overview:

Crystal Lake School District is seeking a part-time School Psychologist to support our preschool program for the 20252026 school year. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about early childhood education and is looking to make a meaningful impact through psychological assessment, early intervention, and collaboration with families and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct developmental and psychoeducational assessments

  • Participate in eligibility determination and IEP development for preschool-aged students

  • Collaborate with early childhood educators, speech/language pathologists, social workers, and families

  • Provide consultation and support to address behavioral, developmental, and learning needs

  • Contribute to early intervention and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) initiatives

  • Attend team meetings and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist Endorsement

  • Experience with early childhood populations preferred
