Overview:
BCI is currently seeking an Advanced Behavior Technician to join our team! The Advanced Behavior Technician provides behavioral intervention to children with autism and their families in a variety of settings.
For over 20 years, BCI has provided evidence-based, contemporary ABA therapy to help children and young adults with autism find success. Our goal is to empower our clients to build the skills needed to live a happy and fulfilling life.
Responsibilities:
- Work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum.
- Receive support and supervision from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Introduce and run Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs developed by BCBAs.
- Work with kids in one of our centers or in client homes with a focus on activities they naturally do (play!)
- Receive extensive training to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to create lasting change for our kids and their families.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification, registration and/or license as required by local statutes to deliver behavior treatment
- Must have reliable transportation or easily access public transportation
- Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to multitask
- You must have experience working with children; nanny, childcare, teaching, camp counselor
