About Job

RiseWell Community Services is seeking a Full-time Certified Peer Vocational Specialist to join the CCHBC Program. Our Certified Behavioral Health Clinic is specially designed to provide a comprehensive range of mental health and substance use recovery services. We utilize a person-centered approach to ensure all individuals receive quality care tailored to their unique needs. This program serves a diverse range of individuals in our community, including adults, children, adolescents, veterans, and active-duty military personnel.

In this role, you will provide peer services and psychosocial rehabilitation services with a focus on supporting CCBHC clients with mental health, physical health, and/or substance use disorders to obtain gainful employment. Services will be provided by a multi-disciplinary treatment team with an overall goal to improve consumer health outcomes. Service delivery will occur on-site, in vivo, and in the community. A caseload of adults, children, and families will be maintained while providing individual, group, and family sessions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
NYS Certified Peer and minimum of one year training and/or experience in job finding, employment, counseling, or vocational rehabilitation. Valid and clean NY State driver license, fingerprinting, criminal record check, and approval from NYS required.
