General Summary

Eastern Michigan University’s School of Social Work is pleased to announce a full-time lecturer position.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include teaching 15 credits per semester in the BSW and/or MSW programs. Please note that MSW classes are offered in the evenings and on weekends. Full-time lecturers are also expected to maintain office hours to meet with students and to respond to student questions and concerns. Attending faculty or part-time lecturer meetings is supported, but not required. Compensation and year-round benefits are protected through the EMU-FT lecturer union contract.


Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must hold an MSW and have at least two years of post-MSW practice experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior teaching experience is preferred.
