Job Summary & Deliverables
The Behavior Aide provides educational and developmental support to adolescents and children with behavioral health challenges in a clinical or classroom setting. The Behavior Aide assists the treatment team by helping clients learn skills and behaviors to be successful in their home and community environments.

Job Summary & Deliverables
The Behavior Aide provides educational and developmental support to adolescents and children with behavioral health challenges in a clinical or classroom setting. The Behavior Aide assists the treatment team by helping clients learn skills and behaviors to be successful in their home and community environments.
- Assists clients with participation in classroom, skills groups, and educational outings according to their abilities and needs
- Assists the treatment team in providing academic and therapeutic structure through the application of behavioral techniques and procedures
- Implements therapeutic and behavioral interventions to encourage and support self- management, communication, and social skills
- Documents client care activities and meets productivity standards
- Assists in de-escalating clients when necessary or intervening when the behavior of an individual poses a threat of harm to themselves and/or others
- Supports client health by assisting with hygiene responsibilities as required
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent

- CPR certification
- Safety Care certification
- Driving positions require a minimum age of 21 and a current driver's license
- Previous direct care behavioral health experience
